These Terms of Service apply to use of the EditAI marketing site at https://teachers.editai.co/au. If you have an EditAI account, your use of the EditAI™ platform is governed by our main Terms of Service at editai.co/terms. If you are a user in the European Union or another region, please see our main Terms of Service.

Last updated: 3 May 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the EditAI marketing site (the “Site”) operated by UAB “EditAI”, registered in Vilnius, Lithuania (“EditAI”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By using the Site or signing up for our newsletter, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. About these Terms and the Site

The Site at teachers.editai.co/au is a marketing website. Its purpose is to tell you about EditAI, let you sign up for our newsletter, and direct you to our paid product at app.editai.co.

These Terms cover only your use of the Site itself. They do not cover:

  • the EditAI™ platform at app.editai.co - that is governed by our main Terms of Service at https://editai.co/terms;
  • the EditAI™ subscription, billing, refunds, account management, or AI-generated content - those are governed by the platform’s Terms of Service.

If you click a “Get started” or “Start saving my time” button and continue to app.editai.co, you leave the scope of these Terms and the platform’s Terms apply.

2. About EditAI

EditAI is a software-as-a-service platform that helps teachers generate lesson materials, projects, worksheets and assessments using AI. EditAI is designed to assist, not replace, your professional teaching judgement. It is aligned with the Australian Framework for Generative Artificial Intelligence in Schools (endorsed by Australian Education Ministers, October 2023; reviewed June 2025).

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to subscribe to our newsletter or sign up for an EditAI account.

4. Newsletter sign-up

You can subscribe to our weekly newsletter by submitting your email address through the form on the Site and ticking the consent box. We will only send you the newsletter if you have given us express consent.

You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any newsletter, or by emailing info@editai.co. We action unsubscribe requests within 5 business days.

Our handling of your email address is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Subscription and pricing (information about the EditAI™ platform)

For your convenience, the following information about the EditAI™ subscription is shown on the Site. Your subscription is governed by the platform’s main Terms of Service at editai.co/terms.

  • Annual subscription: A$99 per year (Australian dollars).
  • Auto-renewal: Your subscription will automatically renew each year for another 12-month period at the then-current annual price, unless you cancel before the renewal date. We will email you at least 30 days before each renewal.
  • Cancellation: You can cancel any time from your Account settings or by emailing info@editai.co. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current paid period - you keep access until then. There are no cancellation fees.
  • 14-day money-back guarantee: If you are not satisfied with EditAI for any reason within 14 days of your initial subscription, email info@editai.co from the address you used at checkout and we will refund the full amount paid. Refunds typically arrive within 5-10 business days.

EditAI is not currently registered for Australian Goods and Services Tax (GST). If we register for GST in the future, prices will be updated to show whether they include GST.

This 14-day money-back guarantee is in addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, which cannot be excluded.

6. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)). For services, you are entitled to:

  • cancel your service contract with us; and
  • a refund for the unused portion, or to compensation for its reduced value.

You are also entitled to choose a refund or replacement for major failures with goods. If a failure with the goods or a service does not amount to a major failure, you are entitled to have problems with the service rectified in a reasonable time and, if this is not done, to cancel your contract and obtain a refund for the unused portion of the contract.

Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts, or modifies any consumer rights under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Acceptable use of the Site

You agree not to:

  • use the Site in violation of any law or regulation;
  • attempt to disrupt, damage, reverse-engineer, or circumvent any security measure on the Site;
  • scrape or systematically extract content from the Site for resale or republication;
  • use the Site to transmit harmful, defamatory, or unlawful material;
  • impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any organisation;
  • submit personal information of students or other minors when you contact us.

We may restrict access to the Site for users who breach these rules.

8. Intellectual property

The Site, including its software, design, copy, images, trademarks (“EditAI™”), and other content, is owned by EditAI and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may view and share links to the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. Any other use requires our written permission.

9. Third-party content and links

The Site may link to third-party websites (such as app.editai.co, social media, or partner sites). We are not responsible for the content or practices of those sites. Their own terms and privacy policies apply when you visit them.

10. Limitation of liability

This section is subject to the Australian Consumer Law. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any guarantee, right or remedy that you have under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted or modified.

To the fullest extent permitted by law (and excluding any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded):

  • EditAI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Site.
  • Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site is limited to AUD $100.

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or any other liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted at this page and will take effect from the date shown at the top. If the changes are material, we will notify newsletter subscribers by email at least 30 days before they take effect.

12. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.

However: if you are a consumer resident in Australia, the Australian Consumer Law and other mandatory consumer-protection laws of Australia apply to your use of the Site. To the extent of any inconsistency between these Terms and any non-excludable provision of Australian consumer law, the Australian law prevails.

If a dispute arises, please contact us first at info@editai.co - we will work in good faith to resolve it.

If we cannot resolve the dispute, you may bring proceedings:

  • in the competent courts of Vilnius, Lithuania; or
  • where mandatory Australian consumer-protection law gives you the right to do so, in the courts of your state or territory of residence in Australia.

You may also refer:

  • consumer complaints to the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission (accc.gov.au) or your state or territory consumer protection agency;
  • privacy complaints to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (oaic.gov.au, 1300 363 992) - see our Privacy Policy for details.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid (including under the unfair contract terms regime in the Australian Consumer Law), that provision will be limited or severed to the minimum extent necessary so that the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.

14. Entire agreement

These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and EditAI regarding your use of the Site.
