Terms of service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of EditAI for Teachers (the "Service"), operated by EditAI, UAB, registered in Vilnius, Lithuania("EditAI", "we", "us", "our"). By creating an account or purchasing a subscription, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
1. The Service
EditAI is a software-as-a-service platform that helps teachers generate lesson materials using AI. The Service is provided "as is" and we may add, modify, or discontinue features at our discretion. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated output before using it with students.
2. Eligibility and accounts
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter a contract. You are responsible for the accuracy of your account information, for keeping your credentials confidential, and for all activity under your account. Accounts are personal and may not be shared, resold, or transferred.
3. Subscription, billing and renewal
The Service is offered on an annual subscription at €59 / year. All prices are in EUR and exclude applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payments are processed by Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. By subscribing you authorise us (via Stripe) to charge your payment method at the start of each term.
Subscriptions renew automatically for successive one-year terms at the then-current price unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel at any time from your account or by emailing info@editai.co. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid term.
4. 14-day money-back guarantee
Try EditAI for 14 days. If it does not save you time - for any reason - email us and we refund every cent. No forms, no questions.
Write to info@editai.co from the address you used at checkout. We reply the same day. Write to info@editai.co within 14 days of your initial purchase. Refunds are issued to the original payment method and typically arrive within 5-10 business days. After the 14-day window the subscription is non-refundable for the remainder of the term.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Service in violation of any law or regulation;
- submit content you do not have the right to use, or that infringes third-party rights;
- input personal data of students or other minors, including names, photos, contact details, or assessments;
- attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or resell the Service or its output at scale;
- use the Service to generate harmful, discriminatory, deceptive, or sexually explicit material;
- circumvent rate limits, usage controls, or security measures.
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, without refund for the period after termination.
6. Your content and AI output
You retain ownership of the inputs you provide. Subject to these Terms and payment of fees, you own the AI-generated output created for your account and may use it for your own teaching. You grant us a limited licence to process your inputs and outputs solely to operate, secure, and improve the Service.
AI output may contain inaccuracies, bias, or material that resembles existing works. You are responsible for reviewing output for suitability, accuracy, and classroom appropriateness before use.
7. Intellectual property
The Service, including its software, design, trademarks, and documentation, is owned by EditAI and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. Except for the rights expressly granted in these Terms, no licence is granted to you.
8. Privacy and data protection
Our processing of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy. EditAI does not collect or process student data, and you agree not to input it into the Service.
9. Third-party services
The Service relies on third-party providers, including AI model providers, Stripe for payments, and infrastructure providers. We are not responsible for the availability or behaviour of third-party services, and their own terms may apply.
10. Warranty disclaimer
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted operation. Consumer rights that cannot be waived under applicable law remain unaffected.
11. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, EditAI is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to EditAI in the twelve months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, wilful misconduct, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
12. Termination
You may cancel your subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Sections that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive.
13. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you by email or in the Service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
14. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Lithuania, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes will be submitted to the competent courts of Vilnius, Lithuania, except where mandatory consumer-protection law grants you the right to bring proceedings in your country of residence. EU consumers may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
