7. Cookies and tracking technologies
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies (including web beacons and pixels) to operate the site, understand how it is used, and measure advertising performance.
Essential cookies load by default and are required for the site to work.
Cookiebot records your cookie consent choice. You can change your choice at any time from the cookie banner.
Google Analytics and other optional cookiesonly load after you click “Accept” in our cookie banner.
Meta Pixel (Facebook Pixel) loads on every visit to the site, including before you interact with the cookie banner, so that Meta can match your visit to the ad that brought you here. The Office of the Australian Information Commissioner has issued guidance (November 2024) that tracking pixel data may constitute personal information under the Privacy Act when it can be linked to identifiable individuals. We treat it accordingly.
Opting out of tracking
You can opt out of pixel and cookie-based tracking by:

Opting out of advertising tracking does not stop you from using the marketing site.
8. Cross-border disclosure (APP 8)
EditAI is based in Lithuania (European Union). The personal information we collect on this site will be disclosed to recipients located outside Australia, including in:
- The European Union (primarily Lithuania, where we are based, and other EU member states where our hosting and email providers operate)

We take reasonable steps to ensure that overseas recipients comply with the Australian Privacy Principles. These steps include contracting with recipients on terms that require them to handle personal information consistently with the APPs, the GDPR, or equivalent privacy standards, and selecting reputable providers with established privacy and security practices.
By using this site, you consent to your personal information being disclosed to overseas recipients in the countries listed above. You acknowledge that, where you give this consent, we will not be required to take steps under APP 8.1 in relation to that disclosure, and the Australian Privacy Principles may not be enforceable against the overseas recipient.
If you do not consent to overseas disclosure, please do not use this site.

Despite these measures, no electronic transmission or storage system is 100% secure. If you become aware of a security issue, please contact us at info@editai.co.
